The Revenue for the year 1907 amounted

Do $6,602,260.25, being $1b4,2bb.2b more than the Estimate and $462,701.00 less than the Revenue of 1906.

The Expenditure during the year was $5,757,203.47, being less than the Estimate by $674,556.53 and less than the Expenditure of 1906 by $1,075,407.21. The excesses which were incurred under the several heads, amount- ing in the aggregate to $166,756.8b, have been duly provided for by Supplementary Appropria- tion Ordinance No: 11 of 1900 and the excesses

on sub-heads which have been met out of say- ings on other sub-heas of the same votes have been duly sanctioned by the Secretary of State.

3. The differences between the estimated

amounts of Revenue and Expenditure under sub- heads and the amounts actually received and paid are shown in the accompanying Detailed Statements.

The Statement of Asses and Liabilities on

31st December 1907 shows an excess of Asset. over Liabilities of $1,542,17b.bb. The excess of Assets on 31st December 1906, as shown in the Statement rendered by the Treasurer was
